About Us

Little Kingshill Combined School serves Little Kingshill and the surrounding catchment area, providing a high standard of education from three to eleven years of age.  A proportion of our pupils come from out of catchment area, from the surrounding villages and from the town of High Wycombe.

Little Kingshill Combined School has grown from a small Chilterns village school, housed in a Victorian building, to a combined school with a nursery.

The school is now housed in separate modern blocks.  The Nursery Class is situated on the other side of the road in the original Victorian building.  However, liaison between Nursery and Reception teachers is close, the transition from Nursery to Reception is very smooth and the children settle quickly into life at school.

The Village Hall is incorporated into the school site.  The school uses it during the day and the local community uses it during evenings and weekends.  This allows the school the use of two halls, the Village Hall and its own, for most of the week and this provides an extensively used community resource.

The school is organised in three stages:

Foundation Stage is Nursery Class to the end of Reception.

Key Stage 1 encompasses Year 1 and Year 2.

Key Stage 2 covers classes from Year 3 through to Year 6.
